Introducing our office staff

Sonia Smith .......Hi Folks! I am the new kid on the block, working in the office. Originally from Lloydminster (the Alberta side), I have lived in Lacombe for 17 years with my family. You may recognize me from my Lacombe Globe days back in 1995 to 2009.
I am so grateful and appreciative of the wonderful people I have met here at St. Andrew’s. I want to thank everyone for the warm welcome. It feels like home already.
I look forward to meeting everyone here at St. Andrew’s. Please feel free to drop by the office so we can introduce ourselves to each other.

Jane Wilkinson...I have been working in the office since October 2017. I was born and raised in Hamilton, Ont. And have lived in Lacombe with my family since 1995. I have been a member of St. Andrew’s since 1996 and have volunteered in many capacities including Sunday School, Junior Youth Group, UCW Unit 1, VBS, CoC, and the Worship Team. I retired in June of last year from my position as Early Childhood Educator/Director at Mother Goose Playschool after 19 years.
I enjoy working in the office with our wonderful ministers Marco, Nancy, Barbara, and our new gal Sonia. Every day there are new opportunities for growth. I love to meet new people, and see the friendly faces of our congregants dropping in to the office throughout the week.

Upcoming Funeral Workshop

It was Benjamin Franklin, who wrote in a 1789 letter “Our new Constitution is now established, and has an appearance that promises permanency; but in this world nothing can be said to be certain, except death and taxes.”
How do you picture in your mind your own funeral service?
Who might be there?
What might be said?
Where will it take place?
We will explore these and other questions at a friendly gathering

Saturday, June 23, 9am – 11 am at St. Andrew’s church.
