Healing Touch

Our Healing Touch ministry group of 12 people continues to serve the needs of the congregation and the community, based on the training and code of ethics established in the Healing Pathway by Naramata Centre.

We offer regular sessions on the 1st and 3rd Monday evenings, with 2 sets of appointments each evening. We can schedule 3 to 4 persons at each time slot.

There is no charge for any healing sessions. Contact Donna Pierson 403-782-7900 or Linda Hueppelsheuser 403-885-4887 for appointment.

Prayer Line

Our prayer line provides prayer and support for those who have needs and request prayer.

To request prayer, please contact Joan Hartzell at 782-7082 or Susan Helm at 782-4227

Join our Facebook Group - St. Andrew's now has a Facebook Page and a Facebook Group. The Page is a public site for posting information about our church activity. Want to help write a book? - Ross Smillie is inviting congregation members to offer feedback on his book, which has to be finished by March. The book is on the theme of ethics and the environment, and is intended for a general readership. If you are interested, Ross will send individual chapters of the book by e-mail, and ask for responses within two weeks.

Basement “Mini-Makeover”

Our children spend the majority of their Church life in the basement. In the interest of our children and grandchildren and the dedicated adults who lead our Sunday School, the basement needs a bit of a makeover to enhance the atmosphere.

A “wish List” of work for each Sunday School room has been compiled, along with a layout drawing of the basement with the rooms identified by letter and number. The “wish list” is separated onto 3 pages, one for the west side (W), one for the east side (E), and one for the center connecting area (C). The 4 pages (including the layout drawing) are mounted on the bulletin board in the CE Hall (auditorium) for sign-up.

Groups and individuals are encouraged to “adopt” a specific space or room. Selection by work item is also appreciated (e.g. cleaning some/all windows).
